Coble from stuart's drawing board is a simplified plywood version of those outstanding boats, on a smaller scale than the originals but with much of their character, spacious, simple to build and able under sail, oar or outboard motor this would be a stylish way of enjoying the fishing wherever you might be.. I believe that plans and offsets are available for the salmon coble in eric mckee’s working boats of britain. the boat was also featured in woodenboat no. 119. selway-fisher’s designs might offer a quicker, if less traditional route to building one..
